The Scene Queen Group was formed in 2009, by founder Tran Pham upon the idea that she could acquire business in the promotional staffing industry to access immediate employment opportunity for herself and friends who were fresh out of college. At 24, her idea of creating a brand name was spurned by pairing two rhyming words back to back, coining “Scene Queen” which quickly engendered the persona of girls who were ambitiously charming the “scene” as a leading figure and “go-to” girl. Tran’s ventures into hosting and curating a weekly schedule of local events in the Toronto hospitality scene garnered interest from a massive audience which supported her impact as a local personality upon the city’s (Toronto) entertainment sector. Soon, it became clear to her that pairing events go hand-in-hand with the need of staffing, a realization which helped build a portfolio of events outside of the spectrum of hospitality- leading to charitable, functions, brand based activations, trade shows, and sports functions. In the growing years of creating the brand identity , Scene Queen Event personnel evolved to the Scene Queen Group – representing thousand of active contract event personnel for some of North America’s greatest brands.
